4 pound decorated cross pein

Weighing in at 4 pounds, I decided to try a different shape for this cross pein. It is decorated with a scale theme. I then polished it and tempered it, and left the bronze color from tempering. The faces are polished back to white. 

The flat face is generously crowned. The pein is quite broad to allow easy cleanup work, and the corners are heavily chamfered to avoid corner marks. Hung on a 17.25" long handle. The top 1/2 of the handle is octagonal, the bottom transitions to oval. It has a dark red finish on it.
