11 pound copper coated Brooks
This is an interesting one. It's an 11 pound cast John Brooks...with a twist. It is a normal cast steel anvil that has been copper coated. We believe it to be for military use in non sparking environment. It has good rebound, even through the coating. The coating is most certainly original too as it has the military broad arrow stamping on top of the copper. If the stamp had been struck before coating, it would have gotten covered over.
It is marked England 1951 with the military broad arrow underneath it. On the opposite side it's marked 11lb JB. The additional military broad arrow is stamped on the side of the horn.
Overall it is in excellent condition with good crisp edges.
